The last few years of hard work, enthusiasm, determination and fundraising have finally paid off!

The Town Council, supported by the Iceni Partnership Youth team, many generous individuals and businesses in the town, funders: WREN*, the Geoffrey Watling Charity, Breckland District Council Sport and Play Fund have all played a major role in this fantastic project.

The new Skate Park and Multi Use games Area - MUGA are now open and during the summer the Recreation Ground has been full of eager people, young and old looking to use the new facilities.

The Council would like to recognise everyone's efforts with a celebration event planned for Thursday 14th September 2017, 3.30-6.30pm at the Recreation Ground.

Local young people, sports groups, and fitness instructors will be demonstrating their skills to showcase the new and existing facilities.

Everyone is welcome.

*Wren is a not-for-profit business that awards grants for community, biodiversity and heritage projects from funds donated by FCC Environment through the Landfill Communities Fund.
