Swaffham Council has some new residents

Keeping to the tradition of taking down the decorations before the twelfth night; Swaffham Town Hall was no exception until this morning when it was noticed that there were some new residents in the Xmas tree.

There are three reasons to hold back on that tradition this year; in the form of a mother and 2 new born collared doves who are nesting in the Xmas tree atop the Town Hall.

To allow the new additions time to fledge it has been decided to delay taking down the Xmas tree at the moment.

A lovely feel good story to start the new year.
