Swaffham Town Council, working with RAF Marham and Swaffham Royal British Legion are organising this year’s Remembrance Sunday parade, service and wreath laying event at Swaffham War Memorial, on 13 November 2022.

The parade will include Fakenham Town band, representatives of local organisations and groups who will join Clergy, Civic Dignitaries and members of the public who wish to pay their respects for a short wreath laying service at the War Memorial.

  • 10.20am Parade members will gather at Pedlars Car Park
  • 10.35am Parade begins
  • Standard Bearers will lead parade members from Pedlars Park, down Market Place, turning left through the Market Place and then to the War Memorial Parade, members, Civic dignitaries, Choir and Clergy will gather round the War Memorial alongside members of the public
  • 10.46am Service begins - hymn, prayers, wreath laying & last post
  • 11.05am End of Service - the Choir and Clergy then lead the way to St Peter & St Pauls Church for the Remembrance Service

The Pedlars Car Park and the Market Place car park will be closed to allow for the parade – there is free parking in Station Street and Theatre Street
