Swaffham War Memorial has had a makeover in the last 6 months, new painted railings, the stone was cleaned ahead of Remembrance Day last November and more recently this week the relaying of the stones at the foot of the War Memorial.

A huge thank goes to Balfour Beatty and Travis Perkins for sponsoring the recent works by providing their time and supplies.

The Council are working with the Royal British Legion to organise a number of events during 2018 in commemoration to mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of the First World War.
