As you may be aware, councils across the country are working to support people who are self-isolating to stay safe during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
People might be self-isolating because they have symptoms and mustn’t spread the virus to others, or because their age or underlying health conditions make them more vulnerable to severe symptoms if they catch the virus themselves.

We wanted to remind you that if you are self-isolating, and you don’t have family and friends around who can help with things like collecting food shopping or picking up prescription medications, we can help.

Our volunteers can also offer a befriending service for anyone who’s feeling lonely or anxious at this testing time.

If you need us, you can call our community support helpline on 01795 417525. The helpline is open from:
• 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday
• 9am to 4:30pm Friday
• 10am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday, and bank holidays.

Outside of these times you can contact the Kent Together helpline on 03000 41 92 92 or at www.kent.gov.uk/KentTogether.
