The Spoon Drive season ended on Monday and, for the second year running, the Winner of the Hospice Cup was Ted Trantum. The Runner up was Marion Bringes and in third place was Colin Clarke.
A slight variation on the scoring system was introduced at the start of this year. Instead of scoring purely on aggregate shot difference over the season, a weighting factor was applied, which was designed to reward players who attend regularly and submit all their scorecards (even the poorer ones!). However, as it turned out, the result this year would have been the same either way.

The Club's congratulations go to Ted. Grateful thanks go to Keith Turnbull, who gave up his time to organise the 21 Drives that were held. Subject to confirmation, a total of £572.50 was raised by the Spoon Drives for St Michael's Hospice.
