Temporary Pedestrianisation – High Street, Hythe – from 20 June 2020

To help achieve social-distancing for economic recovery following the coronavirus pandemic, the pedestrianisation times for High Street, Hythe have been extended.

All vehicles will now be prohibited on High Street between the junctions with Douglas Avenue and Bank Street, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive each week between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

This comes into force from 20 June 2020 and remains in force for up to six months.

Whilst in force, this over-rides the existing Traffic Regulations that prohibit traffic on High Street, Hythe.

These restrictions have been requested by and in conjunction with Folkestone & Hythe District Council, and any enquires concerning this should be addressed directly to them.
