Temporary Road Closure - A259 Scanlons Bridge - 28th September 2023 (Folkestone and Hythe District)

It will be necessary to close part of A259 Scanlons Bridge, Hythe, from 28th September 2023 with estimated completion by 5th October 2023.

A259 Scanlons Bridge, will be closed on the Southbound carriageway, between the junctions of A259 Military Road and A259 Dymchurch Road, between the hours of 20:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A259 Military Road, A259 Red Lion Square, A259 Dymchurch Road and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while allowing resurfacing works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
