Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, It will be necessary to close part of Headcorn Road, Grafty Green from 13th December 2023 for up to 2 days between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00.
Headcorn Road, Grafty Green will be closed from outside Wayside for 80 metres northeast, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Chartway Street, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Mill Bank, Kings Road, Lenham Road and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
The closure will not affect the 59 bus service.
