OPENREACH LIMITED - Temporary Road Closure - Lenham Road, Platts Heath - 11th May 2026 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by OPENREACH LIMITED, it will be necessary to close part of Lenham Road, Platts Heath, from 11th May 2026 with estimated completion by 11th May 2026.

Lenham Road, Platts Heath, will be closed at the junction with Headcorn Road, for a distance approximately 171 metres in a West direction, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lenham Road, Ulcombe Hill, The Street, Headcorn Road, Crumps Lane, Ulcombe Road, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow overhead fibre cabling works to be carried out, works are undertaken by OPENREACH LIMITED.
