Openreach - Temporary Road Closure - Pye Corner & Eastwood Road, Ulcombe - 3rd September 2026 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by Openreach, it will be necessary to close part of Pye Corner & Eastwood Road, Ulcombe, from 3rd September 2026 with estimated completion by 3rd September 2026.

Pye Corner & Eastwood Road, Ulcombe, will be closed from the junction with Lenham Road, for a distance approximately 1520 metres in a West direction between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pye Corner, The Street, Ulcombe Hill, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road, Eastwood Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow overhead fibre cabling works to be carried out, works are undertaken by Openreach.
