The Crediton Rainbow Guides Visit

We had great fun when the first troup of Rainbow Guides came to 'try out a new sport' as part of their challenge badge in their 30th year. There was a preliminary try out indoors, as it started to rain, buut then we advanced to the green and they had a wonderful afternoon bowling (with boules), as we didn't have enough junior sized woods. One set were bowling through a tunnel og cones to the jack and the others were aiming at a jack on a target. There was a lot of potential shown and some were 'naturals' at the game, so we have hope for the future in our local club. Our President Dorothy Richards prsented them all with badges they had won previously.
