Saturday 12 September saw another successful day of bowls in lovely weather. Long may it continue.

Your intrepid website editor was stuck in traffic - you can read about it here https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/m4-traffic-live-one-hour-4510420 No news on the driver in what was a serious accident.

The games were played in good spirit. Mal won in a tight game against Arthur by 15-12. Bryan continues to show promising form. Pete beat Roger by 19-8. In the third game, Bob managed a stunning comeback from 18-3 to draw 18-18 on the last end against Tom.

Thank you to Derek for organising the daya and his altruism letting your website editor play in the second half of one of the games. Many thanks to Brian for running the bar.

Let us hope the good weather continue as the new green can be played on all year round.
