In 2022, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee (70 years).

Alongside the national celebrations which are being planned to commemorate this historic occasion, communities are being encouraged to come together and share in the celebrations.

With this in mind, representatives of The Hall at Marthall are holding a meeting to consider a community organised event to celebrate the Jubilee. The proposed Jubilee celebration would bring together the communities of Chelford, Marthall, Ollerton and Snelson.

Anyone who is interested in learning more or would be willing to join an organising committee is very welcome to attend the meeting.

The meeting will take place on Monday 11th October, 2021 at 7:30p.m. at The Hall at Marthall, Sandlebridge Lane, Marthall.
