Third round of the Triples League

The evening started in glorious sunshine, however the top of the table clash turned out to be a disappointment. Tim versus Ruby on Rink 4 was "interesting" as most of the players seemed to have an aversion to the kitty. Bob and Marleen stood out in a sea of mediocrity. The sets were shared and Tim's team won overall on the shots score. The set scores were 8-2 and 4-6, so 12-8 in total and 4 points to 2 for Tim

Roy's team returned to form beating Brian's by two sets, so 6 points. Albert's team won against Bob's team, who continue to prop up the table, by two sets, and another 6 points. Brian's team were leapfrogged in the table by Roy's and Albert's.

The standings after Week 3 are

Tim, 16 points, +27 shots

Ruby, 12 points, +30 shots

Albert, 9 points, -9 shots

Roy, 8 points, -12 shots

Brian, 7 points, -5 shots

Bob, 2 points, -21 shots

There are two rounds of the Triples League left before the end of September.
