Thanks to the stirring enthusiasm of our residents recently our grass verges along the length of UAL and the OOR may now have more daffodills than John Smith cans and Costa Coffee cups. However, this is an ever present problem that needs to be tackled by more than just a few residents. It has been suggested that to keep on top of this dreaded blight spoiling our environment, it would help if all who are able cautiously bin the litter they see on their stretch of the road; BUT take care as experience has shown the speeding drivers have little regard for your presence at the edge of the road - wear a high visibility tabard if you have one.

If you see or suffer from fly tipping please report it to the council with what information you know about the offence.

Call 0300 300 0013 to report fly tipping.
