Torquay Tour 12th to 14th July 2019, Update 2

Update 2: Please note that the evening meal on Saturday at the Hotel is now at 7pm rather than 7:30 as previously advertised. Regarding the Burnham-on-sea match on the return journey a buffet style meal is being provided by our hosts which will be charged at £3.50 per head. There will be a quiz on the coach down provided as always by our usual quiz master Peter Cross.

Update: Please Note that clothes to wear to matches on on the Torquay tour, Saturday and Sunday, are grey trousers or grey shorts with blue or white shirts

Please find below details of the itinerary for the Club’s Torquay tour in July.

Torquay Tour 12th to 14th July 2019

Friday 12th

• Coach leaves Cardiff Sophia Gardens @ approx. 10:00 (casual clothes may be worn).

• Coach will stop at Taunton Services for a half hour break. We should arrive at the Carlton Hotel at approx. 12:30 - 13:00.

• Some rooms may not be ready, so, please put your name on your cases & the hotel will take them to your room when they are ready.

• The rest of the day and night is free.

Saturday 13th

• Breakfast @ Hotel

• 11:30 - 12:00 the coach will leave hotel for Paignton, Torbay Bowling Club for a 14:00 start. All Whites should be worn.

• After match we will have a drink with the opposition, & then return to our hotel. An evening meal will be provided at the hotel for 19:30.

Sunday 14th

• Breakfast @ Hotel

• 11.00am leave hotel for Burnham on Sea Bowling Club for a 14:00 start. All whites should be worn.

• A small buffet to be had after match.

• Return to Cardiff 19:30 to 20:00.

Please note that parking is available at Cardiff Bowling Club, Sophia Gardens at the rear of their club.
