Final
The game started with Joan, Alan and Pete playing very well and they never looked back, winning easily in the end. The game finished on the 6th at 14-2. Well done to Pete's Triple who turned it on when it mattered.
Presentation
It was heart-warming to hear Pete recall fond memories of Tim Goodall before the presentation of the trophies by Pat, his lovely wife. The award of the Smarties, a tradition started by Tim, was a nice touch. Well done to Tom, Marlene, and Paul for winning their pool but coming a distant second in the final.
Thank you to Anna and Pete, and Brain and John for operating the bar. Well done to John for winning the 'spider' taking home a bottle of whisky donated by Anna. The money raised from the 'spider' was donated to the Guide Dogs for the Blind charity.
Finally, it was great to see the club busy after the long lay-off, together with new members playing. Well done to Pete for organizing a successful tournament.
