Counting down now to the Tour of Britain cycle race on Tuesday 5th September. The village will be in the national media as the competitors and their support teams sweep down Rise Road, Main Street and Dancing Lane. The Parish Council has been decorating the village to mark the event . Hopefully as many people as are able will cheer them on !

Today parking restrictions have been announced along the route for the event. It’s important that these are adhered to as vehicles will be towed away if parked on the route between midnight 4th September until midnight 5th September . Perhaps neighbours could support those with no off street parking by sharing access to their drives.

Cllr France will be liaising with the school on arrangements for teacher parking and dropping off and picking up. Those with children at the school will receive information on this from the Headteacher .
