Parish Councillor Allowances 2019/20
Notice is hereby given under the Local Authorities (Members’ Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 that the Fletching Parish Council, after consideration of the report of an Independent Remuneration Panel, has decided that the Wealden Allowances Scheme be implemented from 1st April, 2019, as follows:
(1) Basic Allowance - £163;
(2) Chairman Allowance - £281
(3) Travel, and Subsistence Allowance – 45p per mile (no change to subsistence);
This allowance is payable to elected councillors should they opt to claim it.
Copies of the Panel’s report and full scheme are available for inspection by the public, from the Clerk.
