The twinning association has sadly decided to come to an end. This was decided after a meeting held at the end of March 2022.
This was due to a lack of interest to be able to replace committee members.
Swaffham is twinned with both Couhé in France and Hemmoor in Germany. Due to the next Civic event being held on the 9 -12th September, in Hemmoor, Germany, The same weekend as Carter22. Councillors are unable to attend as they wish to remain in Swaffham to support the events.
Before a line is completely drawn on twinning, the council want to reach out to the community to enquire if anyone is interested in putting themselves forward to resurrect the twinning link.
