Triumphal Tributes to Tim's Team for Topping the Table

The fifth and last round of the Triples League was played in a slight drizzle that did not dampen the enthusiasm of the players.

Tim, John, Marlene and Derek topped the table after winning one set against Brian, Steve, Pete and Adrian. The two points from the set win were enough to top the table.

Bob's team managed their first victory against Roy's team after drawing the first set, and Ruby's team beat Albert's team, again after drawing the first set.

Many thanks to Derek and Rob for their organisation as the league has been most appreciated by the players.

Bob v Roy, 6-6, 7-1, 13-7 shots, 5-1 points

Ruby v Albert, 5-5, 7-2, 12-7 shots, 5-1 points
