Amended details are now as follows;

A698 Cornhill to Wideopen Plantation Junction, Cornhill-on-tweed

B6470 Salutation Pub Junction to Norham, Norham

Northumberland County Council road closure to carry out surface dressing and associated works. Works will be carried out in different phases. (Phase 1 & 2) Pre-surface dressing patching and Civils (Phase 3) Surface dressing (Phase 4) Lock Chip (Phase 5) White lining & Road studs

Phase 5 work dates: 08/09/2026 - 10/09/2026 between 09:30 and 17:00.

All residents living within closure will have full excess and Emergency services if needed. Road closure order valid 20/04/2026 - 20/11/2026
