United Utilities project to install approximately ten kilometres of new water mains in the Audlem, Buerton, Hankelow and Wilkesley areas.

United Utilities have begun a £500,000 project to install approximately ten kilometres of new water mains in the Audlem, Buerton, Hankelow and Wilkesley areas.

This project is the one of several planned across the Cheshire East region and will be delivered by Network Plus. The works will be carried out in phases throughout the project area. This investment is aimed at improving the resilience and reliability of the local water network, helping to reduce leakage and minimise the risk of future bursts.

Works commenced on Monday 16 March and are expected to take around 11 weeks to complete. Temporary traffic management will be in place at times to ensure the works are carried out safely.

There may be some temporary disruption during the works and will take steps to minimise impacts, while ensuring residents are kept informed throughout. Local residents will receive hand-delivered letters providing further information about the works.
