Steps being taken to restart services

The following is based on Government guidance as it stands on 4th August 2020. Any changes made to that guidance, subsequently, would likely impact these plans.

“We are currently inspecting & preparing our vehicles, in the hope of restarting bus services as soon as it is safe to do so. Our primary concern is to protect the health & well-being of our volunteers, passengers, and the wider community. This will require additional hygiene measures to be adopted, including the requirement for all onboard to wear face coverings, purchase of additional supplies and equipment and a reduction in passenger seating capacity. Initially, there would also likely be limits in the services that will be made available.

At present, no exact dates for the above can be given.

We ask all in the community to bear with us, as we find our way in these difficult circumstances.

We regret the inconvenience this causes our passengers.”
