Update on Bingo equipment

The team who volunteer to organise bingo asked the residents' association if we can help with a new bingo machine and a new microphone. However, when the residents association met with Royale's senior management to talk about how we can help with entertainment and activities in the club, Royale asked that we have no involvement in the weekly bingo sessions or related finances. They felt that these sessions were already well established in the club so we agreed to steer clear.
Even though we weren't able to help directly, we did get in touch with Royale management on behalf of the bingo helpers and they have agreed to buy new equipment. We sent an order on 12/1/23 and this will now pass through Royale's finance team for approval. In the meantime one of the committee members has agreed to lend the bingo sessions are desent microphone.
