Update on Holmesdale and Horton Road Closures

Please note, Horton Road will now finish on the 8th September 2019 and Holmesdale Road will now start on the 9th September until 29th September 2019.

Temporary Road Closure – Holmesdale Road and Horton Road, South Darenth – from 22 July 2019 until 21 September 2019

Because of the installation of a gas pipeline, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Holmesdale Road and Horton Road, South Darenth, on or after 22 July 2019 until 21 September 2019 or until the works have been completed.

Holmesdale Road – between East Hill and Devon Road

The alternative route westbound is via Devon Road Cedar A225 Main Road, Station Road and eastbound is via East Hill, Shrubbery Road and Holmesdale Road.

Horton Road – between Station Road and East Hill

The alternative route westbound is via Station Road, A225 Main Road, Cedar Drive, Devon Road and eastbound is via New Road and East Hill.
