WDC have updated Fletching Parish Council with the following:

Wealden District Council are currently doing everything in their power to make sure they continue delivering essential waste collection services to their customers. Unfortunately, in these unusual circumstances, in order to maintain these essential services they have temporarily suspended taking new bookings for bulky waste collections.

While it may be tempting to do DIY projects while following the government's advice to stay at home, they are advising the public to help them by avoiding creating unnecessary waste until the bulky waste collection service is available again, or when the Household Waste Recycling Sites can reopen. Don't be tempted to fly tip. Fly tipping is an offence and offenders will be prosecuted.
