Update on work in Longdon Bridge and traffic lights

• The work will start today and last 10 weeks. The timeline was originally 13 weeks. This has been shorted to reduce impact on residents and local businesses.
• The bridge repairs and the traffic light installation will be completed at the same time.
• The number of diversion signs at every entrance to Longdon has been increased. 'Businesses open as usual' signs will also be erected.
• There will be sensors that detect cars waiting to exit Isombridge Lane, which will change the traffic light signals accordingly.
