VE Day - A Very Special Flypast for Horton Kirby Resident

Dennis Hanigan served in the RAF during WW2 - here is some more information about this extraordinary gentleman:
He has lived in Horton Kirby since the 1930's and currently resides in Glebe Place. He is 97 years old and has 2 children 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was stationed in Jui, Sierra Leone and went on to serve in Palestine (now Israel). He was also an ambulance driver during the war and went on to serve in the Horton Kirby Fire Brigade (retained). Thank you to Kate Hanigan for the information and pictures. More details can be found at
