Village Hall Postbox
After plenty of waiting, the post box outside the Village Hall has now had its brand-new Royal Mail Parcel Postbox upgrade installed — and it’s looking rather futuristic!
These upgraded post boxes are part of Royal Mail’s move towards making posting small parcels easier, alongside traditional letters.
The new upgraded boxes can offer:
- Post eligible small parcels as well as letters
- Scan a barcode or QR code using the built-in scanner
- Use Royal Mail’s Click & Drop service and print labels at home beforehand
- Digital collection information and service updates
- Designed to support the growing number of online returns and parcel deliveries
As more people send parcels and online returns rather than just letters, Royal Mail has been upgrading selected post boxes across the country to modernise services.
