Volunteers Praised for Outstanding Effort in Community Clean‑Up
Alexander House Community Care Hub.
Saturday 21st February 2026 saw a fantastic show of community spirit as volunteers came together to support a major internal clean‑up of the building, grounds, and gardens.
Thanks to the hard work, energy, and commitment of everyone involved, a huge amount was achieved. From clearing outdoor spaces and tidying pathways to refreshing garden areas, the transformation has already made a noticeable difference. The grounds are now looking cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming, with the gardens in particular beginning to look truly amazing.
The effort put in by volunteers has not only improved the appearance of the space but has also helped create an environment everyone can feel proud of. Their willingness to give up their time and get stuck in, whatever the task, reflects the strong sense of community and shared ownership that makes projects like this possible.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who took part. Your support, teamwork, and enthusiasm have made a real impact, and the results speak for themselves. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have done.
With continued community support, the grounds and gardens will only continue to improve and Saturday’s efforts have given us a brilliant start.
