Artist Kate Green has been walking the Elan Valley Aquaduct, which supplies water from the mid Wales reservoir to Birmingham. On her walk she has collected stories of this astonishing Victorian engineering feat and will be presenting her stories at a number of venues across Shropshire. On Saturday 26th October there will be an illustrated talk at Knowbury Memorial Hall by geologist Michael Rosenbaum at 10.00 am and at 1.30 pm there will be a circular walk starting at the Bennetts End Inn - then back to Knowbury Memorial Hall for refreshments and music at 4pm.

Kate was joined by Clare Balding to explore part of the pipeline - broadcast today on Radio 4 . What a fabulous project!
