Residents have shown great interest in tackling litter in our parish, and the Parish Council is ready to support you! We are looking for a volunteer leader to kickstart a new, resident-led litter picking group.

Your Role:
* Take the lead in forming the group.
* The Council will handle the initial publicity to gather members.
* You and the group will then manage the future growth and operations.

Northumberland County Council already have a litter picking scheme to aid such litter picking groups by providing resources and advice on undertaking litter picking (see www.northumberland.gov.uk/roads-and-streets/street-care-and-cleaning/community-litter-picking)
