Buckinghamshire war memorials are among hundreds to be listed over the last year through Historic England’s pledge to protect 2,500 memorials by 2018, marking the centenary of the First World War. Weston Turville's War Memorial is among those listed - link to list
The Weston Turville War Memorial was in place by January 1920 and originally commemorated 20 local men who died in WW, seven further names were added after WW2. In 2002 the war memorial was rededicated as an additional 5 names were added from WW1 and 2 from WW1 . The memorial stands near the Grade II listed Union Chapel and Grade II listed Beeches building.
