Warwickshire competitions

The dates for next season's Warwickshire County competitions are now available on the county website (www.warwickshirebowls.org.uk). The big change for 2017 is the move from the format of playing all the early rounds of each competition in batches over a week and a half, i.e. fours through to semi-finals line up, followed by triples through to semi-finals line up, etc. The format will revert to one round of each competition being played over a two week period.

Some competitions such as the two-wood singles will be subject to a different format, and the other key change is the Wardrop Cup being moved to July - this will have an impact on the schedule for BBA league matches.
