Waste and Minerals - Local Plan Review

East Sussex County Council, Brighton & Hove City Council and the South Downs National ParkAuthority are proposing policy changes to parts of the existing Waste and Minerals Local Plan to meet the sharp sand and gravel needs of the Plan
Area, to increase the safeguarding protection of mineral sites and minerals infrastructure sites and to improve the effectiveness of existing policies.
The changes are set out in the Revised Policies Document which has been published for public consultation.
Consultation on the Revised Policies Document and supporting documents will run from the 11th May 2020-3rd August 2020. We welcome all comments and suggestions on the documents and strategy.
