Message from Wealden Council

WDC are looking to increase our pool of local people available to work at elections, and we would be very grateful for your help in spreading the word within your parish.

Working at an election is a great opportunity for residents to support their local community, earn some extra income and gain valuable experience. Previous election experience is not necessary, as full training and support are provided.

We would really appreciate it if you could help us promote these opportunities locally, for example by:

  • Sharing the attached flyer on your parish council website and social media pages
  • Including it in parish newsletters or community bulletins
  • Displaying or circulating it through local community venues and groups
  • Forwarding it to anyone you think may be interested in joining our election staffing pool

Residents can find details of how to express an interest here: https://www.wealden.gov.uk/voting-and-elections/elections-job-vacancies/

or they can contact the Elections Team at elections@wealden.gov.uk with any questions.

The successful delivery of elections relies on having a strong pool of local people we can call upon, so your support in helping us reach more residents across Wealden would be greatly appreciated.
