So excited and proud - We have been recognised, in this very special year, with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. This is an award that acknowledges the quality and extent of the services that Dementia-friendly provides as well as show-casing the amazing community support and partnership in Alton - so well done to Alton!! There will be more information shared about this amazing achievement in the next few days - but for today its all about the Queen - so enjoy your day of celebrations.
Please do come and see us at the Town Park on Sunday - where we will be holding our annual Forget-me-Not sponsored walk before enjoying the Big Picnic. For more information re volunteering with Dementia-friendly Alton - chat to us on Sunday 5th June or go to our website http://www.dementia-friendly-alton.org.uk/.../join-us-as.../
Big thanks to the Arnold Clark Community Fund who supported our Jubilee celebrations yesterday and have sponsored the commemorative Jubilee / Queens Award China Mugs for our members
