Westgate-on-Sea Town Council Co-Option Update

Westgate-on-Sea Town Council (WosTC) is very pleased to announce that, following the advertising and interviews, two new members – Cllr Cathy Calcutt and Cllr Glyn Parry – have now been co-opted to serve on the Town Council from the 16th of February 2022.

Cllr Calcutt has been voted to serve on the Events, Tourism & Development (ET&D) Sub-Committee and Cllr Parry to serve on the Planning, Highways & Environment (PH&E) Committee. Both are looking forward to contributing to the work of WosTC and becoming two of the 80,000 or so councillors from some 9,000 Parish and Town Councils (TPCs) in England, many of whom are similarly co-opted or elected. We welcome them and look forward to benefitting from the skills they bring to the corporate body representing the electors of Westgate-on-Sea.
