Message from Paul Brown Chair Whatton & Aslockton Playing Field Management Committee:

Dear Residents of Whatton / Aslockton.

We would like to advise that commencing from Monday 18th November 2019, work on a new and improved playground will begin on the sports field at Dark Lane, Whatton.

Contractors will be on site over a period of a month (weather permitting) to remove and replace new items of play equipment, along with some adult gym machines, new landscaping and picnic benches.

A temporary perimeter fence will be erected and we politely ask that during this period, parents and children refrain from using the area for the safety and wellbeing of all involved.

Until such time as the contractor signs off completion of this project, all items should not be used and no liability is accepted, by the Playing Field Management Committee, for any injury sustained.

We hope you understand that these safety measures have been put in place for obvious reasons and the temporary inconvenience is for your safety.

If you would like further details on our new playground, please see the full plans on the Pavilion window.

We hope you can join us in the opening of the new equipment in due course.

Thank you

Whatton & Aslockton Playing Field Management Committee
