Winter Bowling Green Damage

Winter Bowling: Photos submitted to indicate some, not all, of the damage caused to the green this week.

For the past year the green has been attended to by the greenkeeper and volunteer assistants on most days (weather permitting). It has been a testing year for all bowling greens but the green condition has been remarked upon quite favourably by members, visiting teams and others.

It is quite disappointing to see this damage to a green that has recently had end of season maintenance performed on it. The photos have been sent to the management committee for review/comment, but I personally consider that this detrimental damage cannot continue.
