Winter matches

We are now shaping up for the winter and wondering who would like to play in which squad.

We are starting a new Veterans League this winter, which will be daytime tennis on a Tuesday or a Thursday for home matches and of course dependent on the opposition for away matches. The matches will start at 10.30 am and involve a mixed doubles match and both ladies and men’s doubles, concluding with lunch and finish by around 2.30pm. Ladies have to be over 50 and men over 55 at the start of the season.

I shall be most interested to hear from people as to which squad they are interested in playing in from this choice:

Aldershot Ladies – Premier Division (weekends – often Sunday mornings)

Aldershot men – Division 2a (weekends – often Sunday mornings)

East Hampshire Ladies – Division 2 (mostly weekday evenings, some Saturdays)

East Hampshire Men A – Division 2 (mostly weekday evenings, some Saturdays)

East Hampshire Men B – Division 3 (mainly Friday evenings for home matches, other evenings for away)

Veterans – as stated above home matches will be Tuesdays and Thursdays – 10.30 am to 2.30 pm

Please do get in touch with your preference and we shall see what we can do. Currently we are appointing captains, so this will be helpful information for them.
