From the latest WNC news. We are also discussing this at the PC meeting on Thursday 5th Feb:

"Emergency road repairs are taking priority

Urgent safety repairs are being prioritised across West Northamptonshire's road network as a combination of wet weather and freezing conditions cause surfaces to deteriorate.

While large sections are already scheduled for preventative and permanent repairs, those works rely heavily on suitable weather windows and planned road closures. In the meantime, some roads are deteriorating faster than they can be inspected or proactively treated.

At the moment, the priority is to address the most urgent safety issues caused by sudden damage, making emergency repairs to make a location safe quickly, with teams returning to deliver longer‑lasting, permanent solutions once conditions allow.

We're also encouraging people to help us by reporting any issues via the West Northamptonshire Council app, our website, or Fix My Street"
