Christmas is apon us and preparations are taking shape for next season. The fixtures secretary has sorted out most of the list which is available for download from this site .

The 3 by 3 league we entered will require visits to Lowdham and Burton Joyce for evening matches and the 2by3 league includes Calverton so some travelling to do.

The state of the Coronation park green is still a concern .There is still evidense of animal damage and also the turf which was reset is not sitting on a level suface and is lumpy . I have informed the parks department who say it will be rolled . Other areas look threadbare . probably a layer of snow cover would help germinate new grass but not in April as last year i hope.

The indoor season at Beechdale is well underway with club and national competition qualifyers weekly. We have contact with a few players there and hope to recruit new faces before the new season.

It only remains for me to wish you all a happy Christmas and new year .
