Would you Like to Become a volunteer?
People like you are needed to pick up and deliver essential items like food and medicine to vulnerable people who are self-isolating at home.

To limit the risk of spread, you’ll be asked to ring the doorbell, drop off the items and leave, therefore keeping as much distance as possible between you and the person you are delivering to.

People are also needed who can check in and chat with people over the phone. Social isolation increases loneliness, so having someone on the end of the phone that people can have a friendly chat with can be really important to someone’s wellbeing.

How it works
If you’d like to become a volunteer, you contact one of the group below or contact us by calling 023 8068 8000, emailing Coronavirus-support@eastleigh.gov.uk or clicking here.
