Learn how to write historical fiction with acclaimed writer Clare Harvey.

We still have places available for our online four-part workshop series on writing historical fiction which will be run by author Clare Harvey.

Clare Harvey has used both family ancestry and local wartime history to inspire her own work, and in this workshop series she will guide you to do the same.

Using fascinating images from the Inspire Picture Archive, or even your own old family photos, Clare will take you through a series of structured writing prompts to help you discover your own story and create fiction from the past.

By the end of the four workshops, you will have the basis for a piece of historical fiction of your own - whether it be a piece of flash fiction, a short story or the first chapter of your next novel.

The workshops will be delivered online every Wednesday from 3rd - 24th November at 7PM. Advanced booking is required and the price for the entire series is £50.
