We were lucky with the weather again. No rain after the morning showers and it warmed up nicely through the afternoon.

A big thank you to Derek for standing in at the last minute.

Malmesbury took the honours by winning 3 rinks to 1.

Thank you to Yate for their kind hospitality and the good spirit in which the game was played.

On our rink, we learnt all about building models of Concorde for testing in wind tunnels

Fact for the day - Yate is derived from the old English word giete or gete, meaning ‘a gateway into a forest area
