Red Lion Social Club

The Red Lion Social Club was founded in our local pub (then called the Red Lion) about 35 years ago originally to provide an annual dinner for the older people of Ashendon. It quickly became an organisation to provide social functions in the village. You will receive details of these events in our newsletters and flyers which will be delivered to you and also in the Bernwode News. How do you join? You don’t need to; we consider everyone who lives in the village to be a member.

The committee meet on the first Tuesday of each month to discuss ideas and plan events. Do come along and bring your thoughts for a light-hearted meeting. No obligation. While The Hundred is closed, we meet at different members’ homes each month. Please get in touch with James Morris for details.
