2023 Finals Weekend

The weather held fine but the wind was a consideration for the players at the finals weekend. Over thirty onlookers came to be entertained by those players who made it through to the end of the competitions.

Ladies invitation

Winners Lesley Holmes, Bob Holliday and Phil Philpot. Won 19 to 14

Runners up: Jackie Leek, Ron Piper and Mick Wellington.

Terry Richardson won the Yardstick plate with a walk over, so was not played.

The drawn pairs was won by Jeff Eason and Nigel Dawkins. Runners up were Brian May and Mick Cousins.

The two wood singles was won by Ron Piper and the runner up was Ann Cousins.

Ladies' singles was won by Linda Prior with the runner up, Karen Fletcher.

Mixed singles was won by John Agate in a thrilling match against runner up Colin Hadler.

Men's singles was won by Bob Holliday with the runner up Brian Lake.
